The ShipGear Admin Console is a support console that gives you the tools and information needed to manage one or more ShipGear Client(s) and the SQL CE database.
The Admin machine should be running at all times in order to ensure that database maintenance tasks, email notification, and shipping can occur.
Multiple Admin Console Notes
In order to run multiple ShipGear Admin Consoles, you will need a unique registered serial number for each Admin. Multiple Admins are useful for keeping shipping data from different UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager workstations completely separate. Note that when using multiple Admins, ShipGear Dashboard users can only connect to one set of data at a time for customer service and data analysis.

Launch
To launch the Admin Console, select ShipGear Admin from the Programs menu and then select Console.
Login
In order to run the ShipGear Admin Console, you must log in with Administrator rights. Non-admins who attempt to run it will receive an error message.
