Using ShipGear with QuickBooks Online eliminates duplicate entry for both shippers and front office staff, by connecting your existing QuickBooks Online account to UPS WorldShip® and FedEx Ship Manager®

ShipGear includes two modules that help improve customer service :

ShipGear also gives you greater visibility to shipment status using write-back, a feature that writes shipment and tracking information back to QuickBooks Online.

 

 

 

Renewing the Access Token by December 17, 2019

Your current access token that connects StarShip to QuickBooks Online will not be valid after 12/17/2019 due to an Intuit update to its authorization process.

To renew your access token, go into My Companies and select to Edit the company.

Click on the "Click here to request authorization tokens from Intuit to enable ShipGear to access your QuickBooks Online company data" link that is provided on the dialog. This will launch a new window that starts the token generation process. Click the "Connect To QuickBooks" button to start the process to reauthorize access to your QuickBooks company data for ShipGear.

 

 

 

ShipGear Services

These services are installed with ShipGear and can be started and stopped from the ShipGear Admin Console :

 

The ShipGear Server service is the core service and must be running in order to use any component of ShipGear.

The ShipGear Data Link service provides support for eNotify and the Dashboard and must be running in order to use any of those components.

The ShipGear eNotify Server Service must be running in order to generate email notifications or use the Template Designer.
