This screen appears after you choose an order or shipment value for the freight rule condition.
You’re required to select an operator and a string value based upon the type of field you selected.
In the first section, you’ll see a limited choice of operators in a drop-down list.
The full list includes:
is equal to
is not equal to
is less than
is less than or equal to
is greater than
is greater than or equal to
is between (inclusive)
is between (exclusive)
is one of
is not one of
The second section asks you to provide the string or strings that ShipGear will use to verify that the condition you’re creating is met.
Fields with Numeric Values
If the field is numeric, such as Order Total, you will select an operator from the list above and then type in a numeric value(s). The "is between" choices require you to enter two values for a number range.
Fields with Alphanumeric Values
If the field is alphanumeric, you can select "is equal to" or "is not equal to" and then type in a text value. This type of field might be a User-Defined order field or a shipment Reference field, for example.
Fields with Known Values
The "is one of" and "is not one of" choices only appear if the set of all possible values is known for the field being used in the condition. Selecting either one of these allows you to choose multiple values from a set of check boxes. An example of such a field is the "Service (Domestic)" shipment field.
If you choose "is equal to" or "is not equal to", you can select a single value from a drop-down list.
