Set freight to an order or shipment value: Click the shipment value or order value radio button and then select an order or shipment value from the list. A description of the highlighted value appears to the right. Click Next.
This rule type bases the freight charge on the order or shipment values that you specify on this screen. You might use this rule to subtract the COD charge from the freight you charge your customers. You can also use this rule type to create a custom freight calculation from order and shipment values.
There are three radio buttons from which to select:

Calculate freight from order/shipment values: Select this option to create a freight calculation based on order/shipment values. Click the Define Calculations button to define a new calculation. To use an existing calculation, select it from the list. Note that the calculation description appears to its right. Click Next.
