Create a New Freight Rule

To create a new freight rule:

1. From Exchange, click Customize Interface.

2. Select the source document.
   
   
    

3. Click on Write-Back Setup on the left side of the screen.
   
   
    

4. Select "Use custom freight rules to control freight write-back" and click on "Define Custom Freight Rules".

5. If no rules exist, the Freight Rules Wizard will launch. If you have already saved one or more rules, the Freight Rules window displays a list of existing rules. Click on the "New" button at the top of the screen to launch the wizard.

This is the first screen of the Freight Rules Wizard. It begins by asking you to define the result or outcome of the new rule. Click on one of the five choices below for more information about that result type.

• Freight is bound by a minimum or maximum amount

• Freight amount is increased or decreased

• Freight is set to a fixed amount

• Freight is determined from order or shipment values

• Freight is not written back to the order
