Overview

As shipments are processed in the carrier system, ShipGear can write the following information back to Progression Orders :

• Freight Directly to the Order (Manifest Interface Disabled)
• Freight and tracking information to the Manifest Interface
• Tracking information to the Order Header Comments:

i.  Set up the tracking information data;

ii. Set up how the data is written back to Order Comments.

The benefits of using the Manifest Interface for write-back:

• You can automatically bill all orders that have been shipped instead of processing each one individually.
• Macola maintains an easily accessible shipment history.
